One day a young boy went onto the Internet in search of free music. When he did a Google search for free music, he found millions of websites advertising free music but none of these websites were actually giving away free music. It seems that these websites are only using the term free music in order to get people to visit their website. Obviously there are many people looking for free music so it makes sense that these websites would use this to attract more attention. Their obvious mistake was only using the term free music as a way to get people into their site. If they had actually offered free music the young boy might have stayed on their website a lot longer. In other words, the music industry knows what the fans want (free music) but are not willing to pull through for them. If free music is what the fans want then why not give them free music? Do you think it's because musicians have to make money? Of course this is the truth but it is also true that most of the money collected through the selling of the artists music goes to large and unnecessary businesses. If an artist wants to give fans what they want (free music) all they have to do is rethink the way they will get the music to the fans. free music is the way of the future and it doesn't matter how loud they scream or how hard they kick, record companies will eventually give in to this radical new concept of giving the fans exactly what they want, free music!
